One of those days you wake-up all psyched-up. The new month/week looks promising. Big tings a-gwaan, ma-deals kuruka. You wake up before Hooter-the-Rooster, look for a tie, find none but still dress like a kanjora aspirant, check phone, still on, smile. However, things don’t go as planned (like is bound to happen at times), ma-deals kuruka become ma-disappointments kuruka: rescheduled meetings, guys going mteja (understandable with the CCK and all, suspicious if they owe you money), zero deals struck and only minor tasks accomplished.

But…

Not to worry. I’m reminded of an age-old adage, oft repeated by the Mayor of BrokesPark, “It is the little things that matter/count” like a quarter Vodka watching the Sun set. Rare like a drop of metal at room temperature.
